GCLD is homeschooler friendly! At Homeschool Hangout, we invite homeschooling parents and children to enjoy a hands-on learning experience together. Each month will feature a different topic.
Topic: Call 9-1-1: Kids Can Be Heroes!
Presenters: Jarrod Manguso, Grand County Dispatch/Communications Office
Description: What happens when there’s an emergency? Who do you call? Join us for a fun, interactive session with a real dispatcher and learn the right way to call 9-1-1. Kids will discover what information they need to share, when to make the call, and how they can help keep everyone safe. Empower your child with lifesaving knowledge!
Registration is for children in grades Kindergarten - 12th Grade. Parents are welcome to attend (without needing to register).
