Fraser Valley Library presents: Horror Book Club! 

Do you like everything horror? Join us at the Fraser Valley Library for our new Horror Book Club! Each month has a general horror theme, and participants can pick and choose whatever book fits under that theme! Then when we meet everyone will get a turn to discuss their book! 

Light snacks and beverages will be provided. 

April's Theme: Domestic Horror

Domestic Horror refers to horror that comes from within the family or takes place within the home. It explores real life fears and psychological tensions associated with familial relationships. Domestic horror teases out horrifying questions such as: What if the people I trust most aren’t who they say they are? What if the threat is coming from inside of the house? What if I’m not safe where I sleep? What if no one is there to protect me? What if no one loves me?

This genre often highlights the unsettling aspects of domestic life, emphasizing how horror can emerge from familiar settings and relationships.
