Audience: Ages 3 through Adult

This is a multigenerational presentation and crafting program for all ages. Learn about Pop Art, Cubism, and Recycling forms of art. Hands-on collage workshop to follow Michael's presentation. 

American Pop Artist, Michael Albert, was born and raised in New York on Long Island where he graduated from Lawrence High School. He attended New York University and graduated with a business degree. Currently, he lives and works in White Plains, New York. Albert is the author of an artist autobiography titled, An Artist's America (Henry Holt, 2008) and is nationally known for making collage artworks from cereal boxes and other printed cardboard consumer packages. His work has been described as a cross between Pop Art, Cubism, and Recycling with a wide range of subjects he explores including many text-based works. He just calls it "Art."
