Event Details

Step out of the house and into the library for our Lunch & Learn. Lunch will be provided followed by a 30-45 minute presentation. An excellent opportunity to meet fellow Grand County seniors and discover something new.

Topic: "Eco-Explorers: Real-Life Stories of Conservation Travel"

Come discover a new way to travel the world! Eco-tourism (also known as conservation travel) can be an amazing way to visit exotic places. Locals Bill and Marcia Honer focused on animal conservation work, engaged with local communities, and enjoyed cultural experiences in Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kenya, Uganda, and South Africa. Through stories and photos, you will learn how eco-tourism can widen your horizons and impact your life!
